Banfi’s La Pettegola Vermentino 2024 comes off the Tuscan coast: fresh, saline-edged, built on acidity rather than weight. Set it against soft potato gnocchi in truffle cream, finished with Ibérico bellota, and it does the opposite of blending in.
Each sip clears the cream and the acorn fat, so the truffle arrives clean every time.
It pours into the Veloce Riesling : the flat base spreads the wine across more surface, and the bowl concentrates the citrus and the salt line. Built for exactly this kind of white.
